About Gold Coast IVF
At Gold Coast, our goal is simple: we’re here to achieve success for every patient. We are deeply committed to providing outstanding, personalized medical care in a warm, supportive environment.
Throughout the treatment process, our team develops an individualized care plan designed to achieve the maximum results possible. Most of our patients achieve pregnancy and we’re proud of the services we provide – our success rates are among the highest in the nation.
Our state of the art IVF lab has a specially designed patented air system to ensure the purest air. We actively purify the air in the laboratory and surrounding areas to remove invisible toxins that harm embryos. Your embryos have the healthiest start.
About Our Founder and Medical Director
Gold Coast was founded in 2001 by Dr. Steven Palter, our Medical Director. Dr. Palter has dedicated his career to making the dreams of infertile couples come true. He is internationally recognized as a leader in the field of fertility, and has treated patients from all over the world. His work is frequently featured in the press, including Newsday, CBS News, and the New York Times. The leading news program 20/20 featured his work in a special segment, as did National Geographic.
Dr. Palter is well known for cutting-edge technological collaborations with innovators from outside medicine. He performed the world’s first HD and 4K surgeries, and developed award-winning techniques to visualize disease and embryo details invisible to the naked eye. He is also the director of the Lodestone Genetic Summit and Journal Club Live, which is the largest international educational program for reproductive endocrinology and embryology in the world.
As a member of the Yale faculty, he served as Clinical Chief of Reproductive Endocrinology and the Founder and Director of many additional programs including the Advanced Endoscopy Fellowship and the Yale Oncofertility Program. Dr. Palter was the first-ever Editor for Video and New Media for the leading fertility journal of the American Society of Reproductive Medicine (ASRM). Dr. Palter has also served on the ASRM Board of Directors, the Society of Reproductive Endocrinology, and is a recent past President of the Society for Reproductive Surgery.
Dr. Palter left Yale in 2001 and came home to Long Island to create a free-standing center focused on the needs and the journey of our patients. The heart of the Gold Coast story is about you and your family…we can’t wait to meet you.
